It's HOT out there...........
During this season of recording breaking, extreme heat, extra care must be taken to protect you and yours. Try to stay inside, out of the heat when possible, keep watch over children and the elderly, and drink plenty of fresh, cool, drinking water. Heat related illness is dangerous and, at times, fatal. Stay aware!
Symptoms of Heat Exhaustion · Headaches, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting · Weakness & moist skin · Mood changes - confusion, irritability · Upset stomach/vomiting Symptoms of Heat Stroke · Hot, dry skin & no sweating · Mental confusion or loss of consciousness · Seizures or convulsions
What to Do When Someone Shows Symptoms
· Call 911 immediately · Move worker to shade if possible · Mist & fan worker; provide cool drinking water · Loosen or remove heavy clothing
