The award is presented annually to one laboratory analyst who distinguishes his or herself for excellence achieved in the analysis of water and wastewater in treatment plants located in South Carolina.
Ms. Shubrick has been with the District for approximately 7 years, but brought with her more than 18 years of laboratory experience. She is responsible for all the day-to-day activities in the District’s lab which includes performing all the required sample analysis, all quality control requirements, maintaining all SCDHEC laboratory certifications, and reporting all compliance data and reports to DHEC and other regulatory agencies.

Georgetown County Water & Sewer District is pleased to announce that Loletha Shubrick, the laboratory analyst for the District’s water and wastewater treatment facilities, has been recognized by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina as the Laboratory Analyst of the Year. This is a statewide award and was presented to Ms. Shubrick at the South Carolina Environmental Conference that was recently held in Myrtle Beach.
