The purpose of the Engineering Department is to promote public safety and welfare through professional oversight of public works projects and private construction activity within the District’s Service area. The Engineering Department has the overall responsibility for the planning, mapping, design, inspection and construction of all new potable water and sewer projects including major repairs and rehabilitation of all existing facilities as necessary.
